IT Services’ X (formerly Twitter) account to close: 31 January 2025

IT Services is closing its departmental X (formerly Twitter) account as of 31 January 2025.

Notices, updates, and news will be shared with the University community via our estate of online and social media platforms, most notably:

As ever, if you need IT help or support, your first port of call is our Service Desk. You can request help in the following ways:
  • Visit our Service Desk team in Sydney Jones Library, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • Raise a ticket on our self-service portal at servicedesk.liverpool.ac.uk
  • Call the team on our 24/7 phone line: 0151 794 4567
  • Start a live chat with one of our team members (also a 24/7 service)
This move forms part of the department’s evolved engagement strategy and will see IT Services deliver more relevant content to our engaged audiences.
